Loving Kindness, Boundless Friendliness, And Self-Compassion

This is a non-sectarian visualization inspired by the traditional practices of Metta meditation, which have Buddhist origins. The beauty of this meditation is that is unconditional; it does not depend on right or wrong, it isn’t restricted to friends and family; and it starts from those close to the heart to include all living beings. Studies have linked even just seven minutes a day of loving kindness practice to higher levels of compassion, and a greater sense of social connectedness.
